The Flowers She Said She SentWorking on an idea….and currently on Magnetic Fields song 40 of 159.

Neko CaseWhile waiting on the new Neko CD, in typical music completest behavior that I’ve had since I bought my first 7″ &  discovered b-sides, I collected random non album tracks from recent years.
Obviously I needed a cover for my fake album.
And yes, I re-tagged the files with this image. I prefer it over looking at awful soundtrack cover art.
Most soundtracks have terrible art work. Right?
Breaking Bad is on in minutes….time to go.

Tattoo MkIIA couple months ago a girl I had never met e-mailed me to inquire about me designing a tattoo for her. The design was up to me as long as it contained a few specific elements.
I came up with a design involving some birds perched in a birch forest with a fallen tree.
That cut is now lost, probably not to be found.
I need to remind myself that if I’m going to stick them in magazines, then I should make sure it is a magazine I’m likely to keep.
Oh well.
Anyway, she liked it, but not as a tattoo.
This was my second design.
Again, she liked it, but it was missing something. She suggested that we collaborate on it and that might have a result more preferred to what she had in mind.
I told her (I think) that maybe down the road we could attempt that but I was about to be really busy with other projects.
Around the same time all of this was happening, a good friend contacted me about designing a tattoo for him, and then another and then another…..

Happy Is A Troubled TimeI’m continuing to practice working with smaller dimensions…
This is 4″ x 5″.

The next few I attempt will be 4″ x 6″ because I’m afraid that I have sold out to the framing industries ideas of what is standard.

StrangersSmall & simple.
Maybe this is too simple.
It’s only 4″ x 2.5″ so I wasn’t sure of my capabilities without any magnifying device.

Also, I’m being bombarded with spam from some German packaged food wholesaler so I am going to turn off the comments for a while. It wasn’t all for naught; now I know there is a such thing as crunchy pumpernickel pretzels out there in the world. Those lucky Germans!

Post BlakeWork began earlier this month on a Billy Blake &  the Vagabonds animated sequence to be projected in conjunction with the bands live performances.
Hopefully it will be completed by this time next year.
This image was my contribution sussing out some preliminary rough ideas.
I guess we’ll see in a year.  More to follow…..
